REASONS YOU SHOULD JOIN

The great thing about Milky Way photography is that the settings don’t change. But there are many challenges photographers face with it.

  1. Really dark skies means working in the dark

Remember to get great Milky Way images we need absolute pitch black conditions. This means working in the dark. These set of exercisers are designed to get you past these initial roadblocks so that your first night out is an enjoyable and successful one,

2. Finding focus at Night

Our Autofocus doesn’t work at night and the main issue photographers have is getting out of focus stars.

3. Confidence

We often lack confidence when doing something for the first time. This 5 Day Challenge is designed to give you that confidence in a familiar setting before you head out for the first time.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Hi I’m Michael Torkildsen an award-winning photographer. I took my first Milky Way image in 2015 with a Canon Rebel T4i and I’ve been hooked every since. My first Milky Way attempt didn’t workout but my second did, you can see it below. Every year I make it a point to photograph the night sky and see what new and exciting places I can capture it with and it never gets old.

Join me and lets make a few together.
